The Board of Supervisors authorized staff to advertise and schedule a public hearing on revisions to the Decennial Redistricting Plan, to be held February 8, 2022. The revisions address precinct splits in Districts Two and Three caused by the state's final maps. No changes to district boundaries or polling places were recommended. The Board also discussed employee paid leave benefits but took no action, requesting staff to adjust recommendations for future discussion.

The Board adopted a resolution requesting the Commonwealth Transportation Board prohibit through truck traffic on Route 600 (Mt. Sharon Road) after a public hearing, voting 5-0. The Board also approved the consent agenda, which included FY22 budget amendments, a resolution for state acceptance of Wilderness Shores roads, and ratification of the Winter Storm Izzy emergency declaration. Additionally, the Board authorized staff to solicit proposals for professional consulting on the Parks and Recreation Facilities Game Plan and made several appointments.
