City Council

The City Council will review several infrastructure projects including road extensions and a new fire station purchase. The meeting also includes public hearings regarding SunTran budgets and landfill development agreements.

Planning & Zoning Commission

The Ocala Planning & Zoning Commission will review several land-use requests that require a recommendation to City Council before final action. Items under discussion include two industrial rezonings, an amendment to remove a development policy near the CSX railroad, and changes to a construction and demolition landfill agreement. A conceptual plan for a residential subdivision phase will also be considered. The commission does not have final approval authority; all recommendations move to City Council for decision.

Historic Preservation Advisory Board

The Historic Preservation Advisory Board will review the meeting minutes from November 2, 2023. The board will also consider a Certificate of Appropriateness for 1140 E Fort King Street and discuss affirmative maintenance.

Municipal Arts Commission

City Council
