School Speed Zone Hearings
This is a procedural hearing for the Town of Oakland to adjudicate school speed zone citations. A Special Magistrate will hear testimony from multiple petitioners regarding specific citation numbers.

Town Commission
The Commission unanimously approved the second reading of two ordinances to amend the future land use map and rezone 12.91 acres at 2253 Bay Line Road from agricultural to low density residential and single-family residential, allowing subdivision into five parcels. The consent agenda was also approved, including approval of May 26 minutes, a beer/wine permit for the September block party, and authorization to piggyback on a Toho Water Authority asphalt agreement. A public hearing was held for the proposed Tubb Street/Oakland Avenue Overlay District comprehensive plan amendment, but no action was taken; the transmittal will proceed to the Department of Economic Opportunity for review.
