PUBLIC NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF REGULAR MEETING
Palomino Valley General Improvement DistrictScheduled for August 20, 2026
The Palomino Valley General Improvement District (âPVGIDâ) hereby provides public notice that the regular meeting scheduled for August 20, 2026 is canceled due to the Bug and Stallion Fire and the State of Emergency declared by the Governor of Nevada pursuant to NRS Chapter 414.
At the time of this notice, portions of the Palomino Valley area are under evacuation or restricted access, and emergency conditions may continue through the scheduled meeting date. In accordance with NRS 241 (Nevada Open Meeting Law), the Board may cancel a regular meeting when circumstances make holding the meeting unsafe or impracticable.
This cancellation is necessary to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and emergency personnel, and to avoid public travel or congregation within an active wildfire and evacuation zone. No statutory deadlines or required annual actions fall in August, and the cancellation will not affect compliance with Nevada law.
The next regular meeting of the PVGID Board of Trustees will occur on September 17, 2026, unless otherwise noticed.

The PVGID Board of Trustees welcomes and allows pertinent and specific public comments during individual agenda action items and provides a
public comment segment at the beginning and end of each meeting. Any person wishing to speak must state their name for the record and will
have three (3) minutes to speak. However, if the number of people wishing to speak is large, the presiding trustee may reduce the time allowed
per speaker. Your cooperation in adhering to the stated time limit, and staying on topic, will be greatly appreciated. No action may be taken on
matters raised under Public Comment until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be
taken. The Board is not required to respond to public comments. Any person who reads a statement on the record and/or presents any material
