The North Miami Board of Adjustment will hold public hearings on two land-use requests. The board will decide whether to grant a zoning variance for a beauty salon suites facility at 744 NE 125 Street. It will also rule on a special exception to allow a private school at 580-590 NE 139 Street. Standard administrative items and continued petitions will also be addressed.

Centennial Committee

Planning Commission
The commission will hold public hearings and vote on two conditional use permits (CUPs) for major developments. The first is a new mixed-use project at 1890 NE 146th St with 600 apartments, townhomes, retail, and a parking garage. The second is a modification of an existing CUP for a development at 1255 NW 135th St. Staff recommends approval of both items.
- New CUP for 14-story and 8-story apartment buildings, 14 townhomes, 4,526 sq ft retail, 940 parking spaces on 4.44 acres at 1890 NE 146th St
