NCH Tree Board

The Municipal Tree Advisory Board is meeting to discuss potential locations for the NCH Christmas Tree and to develop a schedule with the city's arborist and their company. They will also have general conversation on upcoming events, the status of already-planted trees, and Tree City USA requirements.

The board recommended planting a Norway Spruce in front of the City Building west of the entrance. A quote of $1,870 from GF Lester for the tree, delivery, installation, warranty, and mulch will be presented to City Council for funding approval.

Council Agendas and Minutes

The North College Hill City Council will hold a special Committee of the Whole meeting on January 9, 2023, at 6:00 pm for the purpose of the 2023 Council Organizational Meeting. The meeting was called by a motion from Council Member Marjorie Anderson, seconded by Council Member Arica Underwood, with unanimous support from council on January 3, 2023.

Council members met to determine seating and committee assignments for 2023. Two members proposed stepping down from vice-chair roles to accommodate other duties. No final replacements for those roles were decided.
