City Council - Special

The City Council will conduct a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance for a new Reapportionment Plan. This plan revises city council member district boundaries in response to the 2020 Census.

The New Braunfels City Council held a public hearing and approved a new reapportionment plan revising city council district boundaries in response to the 2020 Census. The motion to approve Map B passed unanimously. No other substantive decisions were made.

Community Development Advisory Committee

The Community Development Advisory Committee will conduct CDBG business, including electing officers and reviewing application templates. The meeting also includes a progress report on the PY 21 project and an update from the Workforce Housing Advisory Committee.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will consider several rezoning requests and subdivision plats. This includes public hearings for properties on Engel Road and S IH 35, as well as a special use permit request at 222 Alves Lane. Staff will also provide an update on the Land Development Ordinance.
