Measure H Oversight Board

The Measure H Oversight Board will hear the annual financial report for Measure H for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, from external auditors Vasquez + Company, LLP. The board will also conduct a final review of its bylaws before recommending them to the City Council, review the second quarter spending plan for FY 2024-25, and elect a chair and vice chair for 2025.

Citizen's Housing and Community Development Committee (CH&CDC)

The Citizen's Housing and Community Development Committee will consider approving the City of Modesto's Homekey+ Project Application to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for a project at 1121 Needham St., with a total project cost not to exceed $22,896,000, and a Community Development Block Grant loan to El Capitan Homekey LP not to exceed $3,007,163. The committee will also receive an informational update on the 7th Street Village and approve the minutes from the December 12, 2024 meeting.

Culture Commission

This special meeting of the Modesto Culture Commission addresses unfinished business including a postponed City Flag Redesign, proposed amended bylaws, the 150th Mural Project, a Bird Installation Project, and commission goals and priorities. New business features a presentation and Q&A from Visit Modesto. The commission will also consider approving the November 2024 meeting minutes and receive committee reports.

The Culture Commission voted to move forward with discussions with Trinity Rivard of Tampa, Florida, for the 150th Mural Project. Youth Commission

The Youth Commission will consider project proposals to reduce the voting age for Modesto City School Board elections to 16 and 17.
