Planning & Zoning Commission
The Middlebury Planning and Zoning Commission will continue a public hearing on a special exception for excavation and grading at 72 Nick Road. Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals will consider a variance request from Kade Courtois for a property at 440 Lake Shore Drive. Parks & Recreation Commission

Economic Development Commission

Water Pollution Control Authority

Beautification Committee
The regular meeting of the Beautification Committee scheduled for June 18, 2026 has been cancelled. Regular meetings will resume in the fall.
Board of Selectmen
The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved the appointment of George Flaherty as Middlebury's representative to the Aquarion Regional Water District Policy Board. They also adjusted the term dates for JoAnn Cappelletti as representative to the Greater Waterbury Transit District. The board discussed but took no action on the 2026-27 pay plan, particularly regarding compensation for registrars of voters; the matter was deferred pending further input from the Board of Finance.

Retirement Plan Committee
The Retirement Plan Committee approved minutes from April 2025, appointed George Flaherty as chairman, and voted to adopt UBS's four recommendations to rebalance the pension fund toward a 60% equity/40% fixed income allocation. The CFO had already moved $1M to cover benefit payments.
