HARWOOD CITY COUNCIL MINUTES City of Harwood, North Dakota Special Meeting April 22nd, 2026, Call to Order/Roll Call: At 12:00 pm, Mayor Blake Hankey called the meeting to order via Zoom. Roll call included Chris Higgins and Chris Fix via Zoom, Dick Sundberg, and Jamie Nettum was absent; others in attendance were Chayla Hansen, City Auditor. Jeremy Snyder, Public Works Supervisor, and Mathias Zitzow, Public Works Assistant. Public in attendance: None Agenda Items: 1. Public Works Assistant position: Mathias put his notice in, and his last day is May 1 st. Discussion of the position's requirements includes a pre-employment drug test and a Class B CDL. A pay rate of $25-$30 per hour will be advertised for the position. The position advertisement will run for two weeks. Dick Sundberg & Blake Hankey will do initial interviews , and the 5 best applicants will be interviewed at the June City Council meeting. An exit interview will be required. Adjourn: Motion to adjourn by Sundberg, seconded by Higgins. All in favor voted aye, motion carried.
