BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGULAR MEETING

The Board will consider a proclamation naming December 12 as Sally Mae Campbell Day, review the FY 2023‑2024 audit report, and vote on purchasing a fire department pumper truck. It will also set the bi‑monthly schedule for the Economic Development Committee meetings through October 2025.

The Sylva Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of a new commercial pumper truck for the Fire Department, appropriating $495,300 from the Fire Department Capital Reserve Fund. The board also approved a proclamation declaring January 1, 2025 as Sally May Campbell Day, and set the 2025 meeting schedule for the Economic Development Committee. The audit report for fiscal year 2024 was presented with a clean opinion and no findings.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION
