Police Commission & Police Advisory Board

Public Works & Safety Committee
The Public Works & Safety Committee will hear updates on the Lake Shore Drive paving project, salt barn construction, and delivery of a new F550 snowplow truck. The Water Department will update on fire hydrant painting, valve replacement, installation of sampling stations, and backflow testing.

Fire Commission
The Long Beach Fire Commission will decide whether to order a replacement for Engine 2 and raise the Fire Service User Fee on water bills to finance it. They also consider a $50,000 commitment for final equipment installation on Engine One and review recent training initiatives, call volume, and public outreach events.
