Borough Council

The Lititz Borough Council will vote on several resolutions, including the adoption of the 2026 budget and updates to various tax rates. An ordinance text amendment (C-622) will also be considered. Historic Area Advisory Committee

Zoning Hearing Board

The Lititz Zoning Hearing Board will review two applications submitted for properties on North Broad Street. The first application (Case #1899) seeks a variance to remove a deteriorating barn and replace it with a two‑unit semi‑detached dwelling in the R2 Residential District. The second application (Case #1900) requests a special exception to build two accessory apartments after subdivision, a reduced side‑yard setback for a shared driveway, and a taller detached garage, also in the R2 Residential District.

The Zoning Hearing Board unanimously approved the December 15 meeting minutes (5‑0). It also unanimously approved John & Lynndell Eccleston’s variance to construct a semi‑detached two‑unit residence at 360 N Broad Street (5‑0), with the condition that an easement agreement for the shared parking spaces be provided for final review. The Board then unanimously voted to keep the testimony for Gideon & Ruth King’s application open and continue the hearing into January (5‑0).

Borough Council

Historic Area Advisory Committee

The Lititz Historic Area Advisory Committee will meet on October 20, 2025 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, 7 S Broad Street. Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will meet to discuss the 2009 Downtown Master Plan and apartment conversions. The body will also review designated historic structures.

The commission unanimously approved the minutes from the September 2, 2025 meeting.
