INVOCATION: Mayor Jeremy Russell gave the Invocation. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Jeremy Russell led the Pledge of Allegiance. PUBLIC COMMENT: There were no Public Comments. BUDGET: Finance Officer Cheryl Bennett shared that at the end of March the Village had received 71% of projected income and spent 66% of budgeted expenditures. Cheryl Bennett discussed the Proposed Budget 2026-27 (Exhibit A). Union County provided for Value real & pers. Property $526,633,084, Public Service Value $3,095,694, and Motor Vehicle Value - $46,122,114 The collection rate is based upon historical collection rate of 99.5%. The current tax rate is $0.16 per $100 of valuation. Stormwater revenue rates proposed are the same as last year. State Shared Revenue projections are projected to be $526,155.
