Community Development/Human Services Committee - Regular Committee Meeting

The Community Development/Human Services Committee will consider several ordinances and resolutions, including budget amendments for Section 8 housing subsidies, a parks grant, a lease for the City Design Studio, and donations for housing and senior repairs. • Lease agreement with Newport 235 Mitchell Street, L.P. for 3,769 sq ft at 235 Mitchell Street for Atlanta City Design Studio, $14/sq ft, 4-year term
• Donation of up to $500,000 to Grove Park Renewal for affordable housing
• Donation of up to $100,000 to HouseProud Atlanta for senior home repairs in Districts 9 and 10
• Appointments to Beltline Affordable Housing Advisory Board, Parks and Recreation Commissioner, and Invest Atlanta board
