The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will hold public hearings on several items, including a proposal by the First Chinese Baptist Church to demolish two buildings and construct a new 19,702-square-foot multi-purpose building at 16835 Brookhurst Street, a variance for rear wall materials on San Rafael Street, and a new McDonald's restaurant with a double drive-through at the northeast corner of Magnolia Street and Talbert Avenue. The commission will also consider a code amendment regarding the maximum size of detached accessory dwelling units (ADUs), which was continued from a previous meeting. Additionally, the commission will elect a new chair and vice chair, and new sign committee members.
