The Delta County Planning Commission voted unanimously to continue the conditional use permit applications for two TDS wireless communication facilities to January 12, 2022. They also unanimously recommended that the Board of County Commissioners take action on 29 pre-Land Use Code development applications. The commission received a presentation on the 2021 Land Use Code review and discussed priorities, but took no formal action on that item.

Planning Commission

The Delta County Planning Commission voted 6-3 to recommend approval of a preliminary plat (PLN21-010) to subdivide 34.36 acres into six lots in the A-5 zone, with an added condition limiting residents to two homes per lot. The commission also voted 6-3 to recommend approval of a limited use permit (PLN21-030) for an 80MW solar facility on 472.85 acres, subject to several conditions including fencing, decommission bond, and road inspection.
