Environmental Committee
The Environmental Committee is reviewing the final year of the city's three-year sustainability plan, tracking goal completion and a pending FEMA flood insurance application. Staff presented a bicycle and pedestrian safety report identifying network gaps and crash risks on Kirchoff, Algonquin, and Euclid roads. Members also discussed planning for a July cultural dinner and a September bike party.

Veteran's Committee
The Veterans Committee will review minutes from the May meeting and discuss upcoming events, including the July 4th parade and Veterans Dinner. The group will also consider additions to the 250th celebration program.

Capital Projects Committee
The Capital Projects Committee will review the status of current utilities fund projects. Members will also evaluate a proposed list of capital projects for the Utilities Fund spanning fiscal years 2027 through 2031.

Committee of the Whole
The Committee will review a proposal to launch a Human Services Therapy Dog Program featuring Pixie the Goldendoodle. Additionally, officials will review the FY 2025 City Audit and various pension fund actuarial reports.

City Council
The city council will consider ordinances and a resolution to approve a 10-year lease with Lakeshore Recycling Services (LRS) for the transfer station and a residential solid waste collection contract. Key terms include a $1,000,000 lump-sum payment, annual rent of $150,000, and $950,000 for city refuse trucks. Other items include deferring the municipal push tax, updating employee compensation, and increasing ambulance service fees.

Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss a text amendment to allow accessory dwelling units (ADUs) as a special use in single-family residential districts. This would require a public hearing and City Council approval for each application. The body will also review a special use permit for a human services facility on Algonquin Road.
