Council Meeting Agendas and Minutes

The Safford City Council will hold a public hearing and vote on adopting the 2026-2036 General Plan, which sets long-term growth and development policies. They will also hear a rezoning request from Stephen Cummard to change two parcels from commercial to single-family residential. Additionally, the council will discuss updating the building code, select a finalist for a library mural, and approve multiple budget amendments including police grants, a mill and overlay project on 14th Avenue, and holiday bonuses.

• Discussion on updating Title 15 (Buildings and Construction) municipal code
• Library mural finalists: council to provide direction on preferred artist
