The Dacono City Council unanimously approved the final plat and development plan for Strata Dacono Filing No. 1 and the preliminary plat and development plan for Filing No. 2, both large residential and commercial projects. The council also passed Ordinance 976 on first reading, which amends land use approval requirements, and made several appointments to boards and commissions.

Urban Renewal Authority of Dacono

The Authority is meeting to elect its annual officers and consider amendments to its bylaws regarding the appointment of the Secretary/Executive Director. The body will also discuss the approval of the Dacono III Urban Renewal Plan and agreements with the City of Dacono for administrative services and capital projects.
