Economic Development Board

The Economic Development Board will meet via Zoom to review project sub-committee reports, discuss Smart Growth areas and a citizen survey, and consider a bicycle and pedestrian plan for downtown. The board will also discuss new economic development ideas and set future agenda items. The meeting is largely discussion and action-oriented, with no major contracts or rezonings listed.

The Economic Development Board approved contributing the full $2,000 remaining in branding initiative funds to Kubala Washatko for their work on branding and other city projects. The board discussed the Weil Pump site on Western, deciding not to conduct a citizen survey and instead recommending continued work with the property owner and further analysis of funding and cleanup costs. A proposed bicycle and pedestrian plan for the downtown area was discussed but no action was taken, with further discussion planned.

Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Board

The Cedarburg Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board will meet via Zoom on January 6, 2021. The main action item is considering a sponsorship program for park signs. The board will also receive updates on parks projects, recreation programs, and forestry work.

Plan Commission

The Cedarburg Plan Commission is holding a public hearing to discuss its application for Community Development Block Grant – Public Facilities Program (CDBG-PF) funds. The hearing will cover eligible activities, community needs, proposed activities, and potential residential displacement, with time for citizen input.
