Technical Coordinating Committee

Executive Board

The Capital Area MPO Executive Board will hold public hearings and vote on Amendment #7 to the FY2024-2033 Transportation Improvement Program and the FY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program. They will also approve the FFY 2026 LAPP Investment Program and several consent items, including transit work plan amendments and a contract for a BRT study. Technical Coordinating Committee

The Technical Coordinating Committee will recommend actions on the FY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program, Amendment #7 to the FY2024-2033 Transportation Improvement Program, the FFY 2026 LAPP Investment Program, and an additional funding request for a Wendell intersection project. They will also receive updates on the 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan, safety performance targets, and transit/mobility programs. Public comments are invited at the start of the meeting.

The Technical Coordinating Committee recommended the Executive Board adopt the FY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program and certify the planning process, and approved Amendment #7 to the FY2024-2033 Transportation Improvement Program. The committee also approved the FFY 2026 LAPP Investment Program ($11.56M), an additional $1.07M for Wendell's U-6244 project, the 2025 Safety Performance Measures, and FY 2025 Q3 Wake Transit Work Plan amendments. Several items were received as information only, including the SPOT 7.0/STIP update and the 2055 MTP deficiency analysis.

Technical Coordinating Committee

The Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) will meet to elect a chair and vice chair for 2025 and receive updates on several transportation planning documents, including the draft 2026-2035 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), the draft FY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), and Amendment #7 to the FY2024-2033 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The committee will also review the FFY 2026 Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP) recommendations, preliminary results of the 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Deficiency Analysis, and safety performance measure targets. Most items are for information only; the only action item is the election of officers.
