PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MINUTES
On this the 5th day of October 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Burnet
convened in Regular Session, at 5:30 p.m. at the City of Burnet’s Council Chambers located at
301 East Jackson, Burnet, Texas 78611 at which time the following subjects were discussed:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Dan Stewart.
2. ROLL CALL:
Members present: Calib Williams, Dan Stewart, Glen Gates, Dwayne Tuttle and Philip Thurman.
Members absent: None
Guests: Shawn Nelson, David and Jane Cothran
Others present: Keith McBurnett, Assistant City Manager, Leslie Kimbler, Development Services
Director and Bobbi Havins, Development Services Coordinator.
