Metro Board of Adjustment
The Metropolitan Board of Adjustment will hear five requests for variances or exceptions to the Unified Development Code. Most involve reducing required setbacks for additions or accessory structures. The most significant is a request to reduce a required 25-foot rear yard to 6 feet for a pool house on McCarroll Drive.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission will hold public hearings on 13 items including rezonings, a sand and gravel mining operation, and final development plans. Notable are a request for a sand and gravel mine on Pettit Road and several rezonings to allow commercial uses including alcoholic beverage sales.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission will hold public hearings and vote on a comprehensive plan amendment, three rezoning requests, a conditional use permit for an accessory dwelling, and three major residential subdivision proposals. Items requiring council approval include changes to land use and zoning at several locations.

Historic Preservation Committee
The Historic Preservation Commission holds public hearings on two demolition by neglect cases deferred from May: 645 North 8th Street and 764 Spanish Town Road. They will also consider a certificate of appropriateness for a project at 999 North 9th Street. A request to defer the item for 438 & 442 Main Street to September is on the agenda.

Metropolitan Council
The Council is considering an emergency amendment to the subrecipient agreement for the Cypress at Ardendale Phase I development. This action realigns the existing ARPA funding structure with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit financing requirements without increasing the total budget.

Metropolitan Council

Metropolitan Council
The Metropolitan Council will convene a regular meeting on June 24, 2026, to hear presentations, special recognitions, and the items on the official agenda. The meeting will be held in Room 348 of the Third Floor at 222 St. Louis St and is open for public comment.

Mosquito Abatement & Rodent Control Board
The board will discuss and potentially approve the 2027 budget and a secondary tax renewal. They will also receive an update on 2026 operations, review fund balance, hear about chemical storage updates, and discuss a joint project with the Department of Public Works.
