ABSENT: None Mayor read the compliance statement and after a salute to the flag and a roll call he asked for a resolution to authorize Executive Session to review the resumes of the three candidates whose names were submitted to council in compliance with state statute. Resolution 26-113 to authorize executive session was moved by Councilman Shaak and seconded by Councilman Gianforte. Vote: Councilmembers Colon, Gianforte, Laufer, Shaak and Visceglia; all ayes. No nays. The council entered executive session at 2:03pm. The session was adjourned at 2:20 pm on a motion by Councilman Gianforte seconded by Councilman Colon. Mayor Garruzzo announced that the Council had completed its deliberations and he then opened the meeting for public comment. BRIELLE PLANNING/ZONING BOARD MINUTES TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026 BRIELLE BOROUGH HALL, 601 UNION LANE The Brielle Planning/Zoning Board held their Regular meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brielle Borough Hall, 601 Union Lane. The following Sunshine Statement was read: “In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, notice of this meeting has been sent to the two official newspapers of the Board fixing the time and place of all hearings for 2026.” Vice-Chairman Jones conducted the meeting as Ms. Trainor was stuck in traffic and read the following announcement: “The continued hearing for the billboards at 722 and 800 Ashley Avenue has been adjourned, by the applicant, to our Tuesday, August 11th meeting of the Board.” After a silent prayer and Salute to the Flag the following roll call was done: Present – Karen Brisben, G.
