Resolution
Moving Location of Bladen County Board of Elections Precinct:
Elizabethtown 1
WHEREAS, the current voting location for Elizabethtown | is the National Guard Armory 1001 W
Swanzy St, Elizabethtown, N.C. 28337; and,
WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statue I 63-128 provides that a county board of election shall have
power from time to time, by resolution, to establish, alter, discontinue, or create such new election
precincts or voting places as it may deem expedient; and,
WHEREAS, the proposal is subject to approval by the Bladen County Board of Elections.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Bladen County Board of Elections as follows:
1. That pursuant to North Carolina General Statues 163-128, voting for Precinct
Elizabethtown 1 will cease to occur at National Guard Armory 1001 W Swanzy St,
Elizabethtown, N.C. 28337; and,
2. That pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes 163-128, Elizabethtown
Community Center 409 Martin Luther King Dr Elizabethtown N.C. 28337, will be
the new voting location for Precinct Elizabethtown 1, which is within precinct
boundary lines.
