Board accepts $257,851 in donations from Solana Beach Schools Foundation
The Solana Beach School District Board of Education approved the 2023-24 School Accountability Report Cards, accepted a $257,851.48 donation from the Solana Beach Schools Foundation, and approved a second-year pilot of the regional Jumpstart early childhood program for 2025-26. The board also approved Comprehensive School Safety Plans and accepted additional donations totaling $1,361.04. A mid-year update on the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) was presented for discussion.

Board accepts 2023-2024 independent audit, approves $41,458 in donations
The Solana Beach School District Board of Education will discuss and take action on the 2023-2024 independent external audit report, accept $41,458.26 in donations, and ratify an increase to the employee mileage reimbursement rate to 70 cents per mile. They will also receive updates on the Jumpstart early childhood program and exploration of a Language Academy, and adopt revised Board Policy 5116.1 on intradistrict open enrollment.
